I have owned Great Danes and trained them. They are the real gentle giant dog. I understand they have a psi of 950 pounds. Is this correct? Plus you left out the Irish wolf hound. These Are the largest of all dogs. Shouldn’t you have included them in your report ? Please reply thank you.

In reply to Mike Valkis. Pitts have a bite force of around 220-250 PSI. Not even a hyena has a bite force of 1000 PSI, they're roughly 950. The Siberian Tiger is about 1100 PSI, and there's no way a pitt is anywhere close to that.

I had a purebred Gran Mah that that had a bite force of over 1300 lbs. Once I tried snatching away her almond biscotti as she was about to dunk it into her cup of Earl Gray tea and paid the price!!
With her false teeth out it’s no problem whisking away the occasional cookie from her, but otherwise she makes a mastiff look like a kitty!
